Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis in a therapeutic manner, it is a completely natural occurring altered state.
A session of hypnotherapy helps the therapist to enable the client to reach a deep state of relaxation.
The usually active conscious mind quietens allowing the unconscious mind to listen, deep relaxation occurs allowing stresses and worries to fade, positive suggestions are made and sometimes visualization and imagery is used.
